HFNI conducted its first in a series of webinars on Tuesday April 29th at 6:00 p.m. A number of topics were covered, including information on HFNI’s URAC accreditation process which includes the implementation of 2 Quality Improvement Projects, and information about transition of care codes and the wellness visit codes. For those unable to attend, the program is available on Health First Network’s YouTube channel. We plan on doing one program a month, and would like to cover issues that are important to the physicians and their offices, so if you have thoughts about what you would like to see, please call Dr. Whibbs at 850-434-8147. We are looking at topics like ICD-10 (and-11…woohoo!), the use of evidence based protocols in the individual practice, and the kinds of things that impact us in our specific Health Care Delivery Locale. We are also exploring the potential to use this tool as a CME vehicle as well. Any ideas or observations are welcomed.
